Governor Ifeanyi Okowa appoints one of his daughters as an aide and has no apologies for this decision.
Okowa, who spoke at a media quarterly briefing in Asaba, the State capital on Tuesday, said his daughter was qualified for the position, he added she being appointed as special adviser for girl child education is rightfully qualified.
“We are trying to cut down our appointees this time around, obviously the number of appointees will be less than what we have in my first tenure.”
He also mentions that about 2023 governorship election, only God can decide that, for he doesn’t know how to make governor “I am not God. I don’t make a Governor. Nobody makes a governor. It is only God that can make one”.
