Covid-19: 14 New Cases Recorded

The Nigeria Centre For Disease Control (NCDC) has said the country recorded 14 fresh coronavirus infections on Sunday, the lowest single-day count in 2021.

The cases were recorded in six states and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), according to the agency’s update for may 2, adding that Sunday’s report is “workout data from Lagos state”.

States that recorded new positive samples are Osun, Ogun, Kaduna with 3 and  Akwa Ibom with 2,  while Abia, FCT, and Kwara had 1 each.

The NCDC also reported zero death leaving the death toll at 2,063, while 155,361 patients have recovered and 7,743 are currently active.
